Privacy Policy
1. Information we collect
When you create a Landid account we collect your email address, name, and any profile information you provide (job title, location, work history, skills). We also collect information generated by your use of the service, such as job matches viewed, applications tracked, and preferences saved.
If you sign in with Google we receive your name and email address from Google. We do not receive your Google password.
2. How we use it
We use your information to:
- Find and rank job listings that match your profile
- Personalise résumé suggestions and match explanations
- Send transactional emails (new matches, magic-link sign-in)
- Improve our matching algorithms and product features
- Respond to support requests
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Third-party services
Landid relies on the following third-party services to operate. Each is subject to its own privacy policy.
- Supabase— authentication and database hosting. Data is stored in Supabase's managed PostgreSQL infrastructure.
- Google OAuth— optional sign-in provider. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
- Resend — transactional email delivery (magic links, match notifications).
- OpenAI — résumé tailoring and match-reasoning generation. We pass anonymised job and profile data to the OpenAI API; we do not pass your name or contact details.
- Adzuna & other job boards — source of job listing data. We query their public APIs; no personal data is shared with them.
4. Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or accounting purposes.
5. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at the address below. If you are located in the EEA or UK you have additional rights under GDPR, including the right to data portability and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
